With their newest announcement of the Domestic Hot Water Air-to-Water Heat Pump, they have set to increase efficiency and environmental sustainability. This pump is a compact outdoor unit that not only heats and cools, it provides hot water in a home as well. Targeted to new builds and retrofits, this option has shown a Coefficient of Performance of 4.9 (high energy savings), and adds to the environmental safety recognition accolades Carrier has received over the years.
